BONUS Message From Labor Day 2020A.D.  “Blessed To Be Repossessed”

Today’s message teaches what Jesus came to model in the days of His flesh, and how that we as His disciples, must in like manner, also learn to do. This not only is to be applied to those inside the Church family, but even more so towards the ones who are outside so that at all times we are “Modeling The Grace Of Christ

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 51:12 – 17 (KJV)

Psa 51:12  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psa 51:13  Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Psa 51:14  Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Psa 51:15  O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Psa 51:16  For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Psa 51:17  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

New Testament Scripture Reading:  Titus 3:3 – 7 (KJV)

Tit 3:3  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Tit 3:4  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Tit 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Tit 3:6  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Tit 3:7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Transforming Power Facts:

1) Just as David the King realized that even he could be blinded by sin to a point that it would distort his relationship with God, and also produce reasons for others, both saved and lost to speak evil against God, so we too must come to know the fact also applies to us; therefore, we must pray more, and complain less if we are to be used by God to be a beacon of hope to others in our sphere of influence.

2) Our fallen human nature is cloaked in a blindness, that can only be removed by God when we come to faith in trusting His salvation, by His grace, and the gift of His righteousness; as we learn these facts and embrace the free gifts of Godliness and righteousness, we then must also develop a way of seeing others with these realities in mind toward them in like manner.

3) The reminder of this glimpse of our past way of life is a topic of Paul in his letter to Titus, who was called to arrange disciples on the isle of Crete, and identify elders for leadership, who were aware of their own personal history, and to display the love of Christ as they learned to be Modeling The Grace Of Christ.
