We here at Straight Gate Ministries pledge our faith, energies, and mind to carry out the authorization given by God’s Word that calls us to “train up a child in the way they should go” and we shall actively put forth every effort to educate the children according to God’s Covenant. In order to perform this task, we with the help of the Holy Spirit, shall strive to:
Help each child appreciate the Bible, and understand God’s word and why it is important in our lives.
Help each child to learn God’s Word.
Help each child to know that they have a plan in God’s plan.
Help each child to build a solid Christian foundation.
Help each child to understand what Church membership means.
Help each child to relate to the Bible in their daily experiences.
Help each child develop the ability to participate actively in worship.
Help each child to develop a proper attitude towards God, family, and the world.
Help each child to learn the meaning of various church activities such as Baptism, The Lord’s Supper, and Prayer.
Train up your children in the way they should go: and when they are old, they will not depart from it.
