In our previous message “Prayer Praise Progress Power Peace” we began to study the path of how we got saved through the hearing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and we noticed the outcome of the Salvation that those who believe in Jesus Christ as their “personal Savior” received, which is Power and Peace! In this message let us study the statements of the Apostle Peter, who wrote about the extreme grace of God that He has provided by the Gospel Of Our Salvation to all true believers “Who Are Kept”.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 1:1 – 7 (KJV)
1Pe 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

1Pe 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Transforming Power Statements / Special Scripture Notes:
1)David expresses the reality of the struggle of dealing with the presence of indwelling sin, which continues to be a problem for all people; and he knows that without the love and forgiveness of God, that no one would ever be saved by themselves, under their own authority.
2) The Apostle Peter writes of how essential this relationship with God is, to the true believer in Christ Jesus, and how only God, The Father Of Jesus Christ, is worthy to be holy, in all things, and acknowledged as the only source of righteousness, which is imputed to the ones that He has selected to be saved; and therefore, God only should be praised and exalted for His grace and total forgiveness to those trusting in Christ Jesus, who learn to walk by faith and not by sight.
3) From these passages, (which like many others in the Scriptures) we can easily understand that it is only by God’s Grace that anyone can be saved; and that God has always provided His grace to be available to anyone who believes and accepts God’s provision through His Word; which is accomplished only by His Son Jesus Christ; and they are the ones “Who Are Kept”!
