Walking With Power

When God calls, He also empowers! Listen in as our Pastor Landis Fisher delivers a powerful message from the epistle to the Romans in our ongoing study, which he has entitled: “Walking With Power”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 54:13 – 17  (KJV)
Isa 54:13  And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Isa 54:14  In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

Isa 54:15  Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Isa 54:16  Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

Isa 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 8:26 – 30  (KJV)
Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Rom 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:30  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) In the design of our salvation, God has provided the means by which the power we need is supplied by His instruction energized by His Spirit, to fuel and direct the entire process perfectly.

2) Even though we are still beset with “infirmities” as a result of our fallen condition after being saved, we are fully able to walk in progress because of the spiritual prayers of intercession offered with precision by the indwelling Holy Spirit of God!

3) Because of God’s calling of us, we are able to Walk with power, because He has already determined the birth, development, and outcome to His Glory for each believer, and therefore, the golden chain will eternally secure each on to whom it is applied.
