Walking With Jesus God’s Promised Messiah

In a previous message called ” Dealing With The Realm Of The Miraculous” we learned that no matter how things may appear being ‘out of control’ God is always in the midst of the situation working out every detail to set up the circumstances to turn out to the benefit of the “believers”! Today’s message instructs us to observe this ongoing miracle as we watch the perfect prophecies of God’s perfect Word; unfold right before our very own eyes! Let us consider today how the believer in the Word can be “Walking With Jesus God’s Promised Messiah”

Old Testament Scripture Reading Isaiah 40:1 – 5 (KJV)

Isa 40:1  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Isa 40:2  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.

Isa 40:3  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Isa 40:4  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Isa 40:5  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 1:16 – 20 (KJV)

Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Rom 1:17  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 1:19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Rom 1:20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Transforming Power Statements:

1) The good news to Israel spoken by Isaiah in this chapter speaks to not only Israel, but also to the world, whom God was determined to provide to them all a Savior, (Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son) Who was announced by John The Baptizer His forerunner.

2) Israel, God’s chosen people, are proof of the power of the promises of God to deliver everything He has promised regardless of “ANYTHING ELSE” stated or desired by ANYONE at all!

3) The Apostle Paul came to understand that God’s Son Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and that this Jesus came to provide perfect righteousness to whosoever believes in Him!
