Switching On The Advanced Features of Salvation

Switching On The Advanced Features of SalvationGreetings in Christ Jesus our LORD!

What is the truth about the salvation that God has made available to all men through the death and resurrection of His Only-Begotten Son Jesus Christ, as far as is it free to all who believe by faith alone? Or is it by believing plus works done by us? Furthermore, are we who are saved getting the best benefit out of our salvation experience? Or is there even more that can be done by any means?

Grab a cup of tea and listen in as our Pastor / Teacher Landis Fisher sheds light on this most interesting topic, in a message delivered to the saints of the Saint Timothy Missionary Baptist Church, under Pastor Spencer Bartlett, which he has titled: “Switching On The Advanced Features of Salvation” from the Apostle Paul’s epistle to the Philippians.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 6:1 – 7  (KJV)
Isa 6:1  In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Isa 6:2  Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

Isa 6:3  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Isa 6:4  And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Isa 6:5  Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isa 6:6  Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Isa 6:7  And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isa 6:8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isa 6:9  And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Isa 6:10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Philippians 1:3-7  (KJV)
Phil 1:3  I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Phil 1:4  Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

Phil 1:5  For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Phil 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Phil 1:7  Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

Transforming Power Statements:

1)If you are not saved and sure about what that means; God wants you to be; and has proven it because He planned your salvation in eternity past, and has orchestrated every event throughout all of time; especially the sacrifice of His Only begotten Son, the LORD Jesus Christ; Who by faith in Him alone, gives eternal salvation to everyone who believes in Him and that God has raised Him from the dead.

2) God the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, is also presently available to administer all the promised blessings of the Gospel within your life and greatly desires your personal fellowship through prayers, communion, trust in all things {good or bad} {Small or great}; and is awaiting you to “Switch on the Advanced features of your Salvation” that He might be glorified through your life. (Mat 5:16 KJV)  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.)

3) The switching on of the advanced features of your salvation are only limited by your faith in the Word which God has spoken; and it is His good pleasure that we all turn them on more and more day by day and even more as we see the day drawing near.
