Supernatural Superintendence

Greetings In Christ Jesus!

As we approach Independence Day it is a great time to think about what I think of True Independence, which is that real spiritual freedom which is granted to all believers of the Gospel of Jesus The Christ / Messiah Whom God has sent to reconcile the world to Himself!

Please enjoy this thought provoking message to appreciate with us the joy of

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 116:1 -9 (KJV)

Psa 116:1  I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Psa 116:2  Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Psa 116:3  The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Psa 116:4  Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Psa 116:5  Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Psa 116:6  The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Psa 116:7  Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Psa 116:8  For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Psa 116:9  I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 8:18 – 30 (KJV)

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Rom 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:30  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) The Psalmist like many of us, was being challenged like we are, by many assaults from the world, the flesh and the devil, with never ending bad news, spiritual frustration, trouble and sorrow on every side, seemingly being overwhelmed with serious and life threatening conditions, that pressed him to his knees to seek superintendence form the Almighty through prayer, which brought on a sense of belonging to God and a comfort proceeding from God, which he so desperately needed.

2) Since the Scriptures are clear that there is no one who seeks after God, we must come to realize that God Himself draws to Himself everyone to whom He gives faith to trust in Him through His Only-Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, in order that each one whom He has chosen will continue under His Supernatural Superintendence, which He provides in abundance to everyone who believes in Him on the merits of Jesus His Son alone, as stated throughout the Bible.

3) The love of God toward the called out ones (His  Church) are preserved by His Supernatural Superintendence which He promised by saying I will never leave you nor forsake you; Lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world, when we see Him, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him Just as He is!
