Old Testament Scripture Reading: Zechariah 4:1 – 7 (KJV)
Zec 4:1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
Zec 4:2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
Zec 4:4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Zec 4:5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Zec 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zec 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
New Testament Scripture Reading: Hebrews 12:1 – 3 (KJV)
Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) It has always been the case that if God gives you a vision, mission, desire, unction, goal, dream, etc. He has already made a way for it to fully come to pass and there is nothing that can stop His sovereign will, no one can stop His perfect will for your life, but the devil, the world, and even our own flesh might offer resistance against it if we do not keep them in check.
2) In Zechariah we have an example of how resistance against the will of God is a very real thing which is a threat against the deliverance of God’s perfect will; but we also can see that there is no weapon formed neither in the natural nor the spiritual that can successfully defeat God’s purpose for your life.
3) The writer to the Hebrews after showing us a myriad of examples of Old Covenant believers, who continued believing God’s promises no matter what it cost them nor how difficult it may have seemed, then shows the ultimate model of Jesus the Christ, God’s Only Begotten Son, Who had the most intricate and painful circumstances, with the highest odds of coming short of the fulfillment of the promises of God, of any other in the history of humanity; and he exhorts us to fix our eyes on Him with full assurance that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO A BELIEVER IN GOD Because of the perfect work of JESUS CHRIST!
