Sign of the Siege of Jerusalem

Isa 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Isa 9:8  The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

Luk 21:20  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Luk 21:21  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
Luk 21:22  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Luk 21:23  But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Luk 21:24  And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26  Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) Human government is ordained by God to be a force of restraint of wickedness in the world, even though due to the fact that it is conducted by sinners, it has always had it’s imperfections; yet God has promised in His Word that He is sending a perfect government into the world that shall be led by His Son, Jesus Christ, that will be everything that God desires.

2) We have seen in the most recent series of messages that there are a number of signs God has given to characterize the events in human history that shall come to pass as indicators of the times preceding the coming of the approach of God’s Kingdom on Earth, and Jerusalem is the geographic focal point worldwide attention that shall identify the season for prophetic fulfillment of the return of Jesus.

3) The reality of the precision of God’s word is enough to validate the mission of the Church to accept whatever persecution necessary to get out the Gospel to the lost as we realize that this is the cause for which we were chosen to represent our LORD at this crucial time in human history.
