Season Of God’s Protective Grace

Preacher:
Service Type:

In our previous message “The Testimony Of Jesus Is The Spirit Of Prophecy” we learned that all Scripture (The Bible) is about the Messiah, Jesus The Christ. In today’s lesson, let us examine what God has granted to His Church to do throughout the balance of time for all people of the world, which is to announce and explain the “Season Of God’s Grace”

Old Testament Scripture Reading Genesis 11:1 – 9 (KJV)

Gen 11:1  And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

Gen 11:2  And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

Gen 11:3  And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

Gen 11:4  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

Gen 11:5  And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

Gen 11:6  And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

Gen 11:7  Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

Gen 11:8  So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

Gen 11:9  Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Ephesians 3:1 – 11 (KJV)

Eph 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Eph 3:2  If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Eph 3:3  How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Eph 3:4  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Eph 3:5  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6  That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph 3:7  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Eph 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Eph 3:9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Eph 3:10  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Eph 3:11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Transforming Power Statements / Special Scripture Notes:

1) Fallen human nature has always chosen to deviate from what pleases God, to do whatever the corrupt nature leads them to do rather than to consult with God about what He has revealed for them to do who fear Him.

2) The actions of the gentiles after the flood shows us that people tend to choose to “do their own thing” rather than to fear God and keep His commandments, and that God always has mercy and is planning various ways to assist mankind that have to be chosen by free will, because God chooses not to make people do right; but to challenge them to do it His way.

3) The ex-unbeliever Paul; (formerly known as Saul of Tarsus) is perhaps the greatest example of how the grace of God through Jesus Christ can turn a hardcore unbeliever into a productive, positive lover of God who is anxious to not only share God’s perfect love to the masses; but also to become the writer of a significant portion of the New Testament which contain many of the mysteries of Jesus Christ the Messiah, that have now become reveled to the world through the Church, who is The Bride Of Christ.
