God The Son King Of All Nations

Preacher:
Service Type:

In our last lesson called “Identifying My Divine Assignment” we began to learn about God the Holy Spirit’s mission to gift every believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with an assignment for His purposes in the Church. In our message today, let us consider the reality of God’s original desire for His Creation which was marred by the sin of Adam; but was restored by “God The Son King Of All Nations”!

Old Testament Scripture Reading Psalms 67:1 – 7 (KJV)

Psa 67:1  To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song. God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.

Psa 67:2  That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

Psa 67:3  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Psa 67:4  O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

Psa 67:5  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Psa 67:6  Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

Psa 67:7  God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

New Testament Scripture Reading Acts 28:16 – 31 (NASB)

Act 28:16  When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to stay by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.

Act 28:17  After three days Paul called together those who were the leading men of the Jews, and when they came together, he began saying to them, “Brethren, though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

Act 28:18  “And when they had examined me, they were willing to release me because there was no ground for putting me to death.

Act 28:19  “But when the Jews objected, I was forced to appeal to Caesar, not that I had any accusation against my nation.

Act 28:20  “For this reason, therefore, I requested to see you and to speak with you, for I am wearing this chain for the sake of the hope of Israel.”

Act 28:21  They said to him, “We have neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor have any of the brethren come here and reported or spoken anything bad about you.

Act 28:22  “But we desire to hear from you what your views are; for concerning this sect, it is known to us that it is spoken against everywhere.”

Act 28:23  When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.

Act 28:24  Some were being persuaded by the things spoken, but others would not believe.

Act 28:25  And when they did not agree with one another, they began leaving after Paul had spoken one parting word, “The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers,

Act 28:26  saying, ‘GO TO THIS PEOPLE AND SAY, “YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; AND YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;

Act 28:27  FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, AND WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES; OTHERWISE THEY MIGHT SEE WITH THEIR EYES, AND HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.”‘

Act 28:28  “Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.”

Act 28:29  [When he had spoken these words, the Jews departed, having a great dispute among themselves.]

Act 28:30  And he stayed two full years in his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him,

Act 28:31  preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.

Transforming Power Statements:

1)  The original concept God intended for mankind was to reign over the Earth in RIGHTEOUSNESS; however, Adam’s sin which he willfully committed, under the evil plan of satan produced the fallen conditions that we have seen escalating through all the ages of time ever since; getting more and more wicked up until the apex, when JESUS CHRIST, God’s REDEEMER, was crucified at the cross on Calvary.

2) The Psalmist speaks in prophecy about the reality of the deliverance of “all the people of every nation” praising God along with His chosen people who throughout time; have brought about scores of redeemed people from all the nations of the earth, who will rejoice with HIM, because of JESUS CHRIST; God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN SON paid the price to earn their PERFECT SALVATION, with HIS own blood!

3) The Apostle Paul, who originally did not trust JESUS as MESSIAH due to personal spiritual blindness, came to understand the global mission of the church for whom JESUS CHRIST rose from the dead to reclaim authority over death, the grave, and the devil; and he preached the Gospel, throughout the nations as he was directed after his personal conversion, and took the Gospel message all the way to the Caesar of ROME; (the country responsible for the execution of JESUS CHRIST / MESSIAH) who also executed the Apostle Paul, under the authority of ROME.
