Greetings to all present and on the internet. Today we return to our routine format as we embark into a new study through the excellent book of Romans. Our Pastor: Landis Fisher is very excited about this study and wants to encourage every one not to miss any of the teachings from this series and has said that he is praying for the enrichment of everyone who continues in this compelling study through perhaps one of the most influential letters written by the Apostle Paul, and maybe even in the entire Bible. Last Lord’s day, Straight Gate Ministries Pastor teacher, Landis Fisher presented a message for the start of the year instructing us in ways to make our walk better in the year to come. So to get us started in this new study, here is Pastor Landis Fisher with the first in this series called: “Sanctified For The Gospel”
Old Testament Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 1:1 – 10 (KJV)
Jer 1:1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: Jer 1:2 To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. Jer 1:3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jer 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. Jer 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Jer 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Jer 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Transforming Power Statements:
#1) The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of God’s promises of old and came into being at the exact time that He had ordained from the foundation of the world.
#2) The gifts of ministries are all by the grace of God and are rendered to the body of Christ for the well-being of all nations.
#3) Those who are set apart are blessed for the purposes of spreading the gospel are privileged to be able to shoulder the burdens of the saved and to minister to the rest who are the lost.
