Projects of the Holy SpiritGreetings and welcome to all present and online, in America and abroad. After a brief hiatus for a required surgery, Straight Gate Ministries Pastor Teacher Landis Fisher returns to the pulpit today in good health. Thanks and glory to God!
Today pastor Fisher also returns to Paul’s epistle to the Romans to teach on an important topic guaranteed to challenge you trust totally in the doctrine clearly stated in Holy Writ on the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit of God. Listen prayerfully as Pastor Landis Fisher teaches his second message as a guest minister of Hope of Glory he has titled: “Projects of the Holy Spirit”.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 104:24 – 35  (KJV)
Psa 104:24  O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Psa 104:25  So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
Psa 104:26  There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
Psa 104:27  These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
Psa 104:28  That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
Psa 104:29  Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
Psa 104:30  Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
Psa 104:31  The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
Psa 104:32  He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
Psa 104:33  I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Psa 104:34  My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
Psa 104:35  Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 8:9 – 28  (KJV)
Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Transforming Power Statements:
#1) We live in an age of the Church, in which there is much conflict concerning the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must pay much closer attention to the text of the Word, in order to understand the correct teaching on this most essential component to the free salvation that God has made available to all who trust completely in His Son Jesus The Christ as THE ONLY and COMPLETE SAVIOR.
#2) The Bible teaches that everyone who believes the gospel, that is the best news on Earth, that although all have a sin debt with God, He has made a way by the death burial and resurrection of Jesus His Son, to offer by His grace alone, total salvation to everyone who confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD and believes in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead.
#3) Due to the fact that we yet bear the infirmities of the flesh, it is the continuing work of God’s Holy Spirit to continue to adjust, teach, nurture, rebuke, shape and conform all who believe into the very image of Christ.
