Miraculous Messages Of Marvelous Mercy

Today’s message highlights the reality that the complete salvation provided by God for all who believe it, through Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son, is not only amazing, but also it is all about His: “Miraculous Messages Of Marvelous Mercy”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Malachi 3:1 – 6 (KJV)

Mal 3:1  Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:2  But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Mal 3:3  And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Mal 3:4  Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Mal 3:5  And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:6  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

New Testament Scripture Reading:  Revelation 2Corinthians 3:1 – 6 (KJV)

2Co 3:1  Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you?

2Co 3:2  You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;

2Co 3:3  being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2Co 3:4  Such confidence we have through Christ toward God.

2Co 3:5  Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

2Co 3:6  who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Spiritual Goal For This Message:

Realize that God has a higher purpose and plan for all who believe in Him and learn to walk by faith and not by sight!

Transforming Power Statements:

1) No person since the fall of Adam has ever satisfied God (to HIS satisfaction)sufficiently through their own personal “good works”  { except Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son} and therefore, we all who are believers, have always only been saved through FAITH and because of HIS MERCY!

2) God has perfected His revelation about His Righteousness (Jesus Christ) so that NO ONE should boast, just as He reminded the priests in the days of Malachi that it was only because if HIS MERCY that they were not consumed! (Don’t get it twisted!)

3) Paul sent a similar message to us in 2Corinthians about this obvious fact, that by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, we (of the better, last, New Testament) should now be able to clearly see that only Jesus Christ has provided to God the satisfaction sufficient for all who believe to possess and share this great news we call The Gospel Of Jesus Christ!
