Greetings In Christ Jesus!

I have learned that one of the very best things that ever happened to improve my state of mind about the way things are in the world was reading the Bible for myself for many reasons, which have changed my life greatly for the better.

It is easy to have a very pessimistic outlook on the world just seeing it as it seems to be. We have wars, religious competition, diseases of every stripe across the entirety of ages from babies up to elderly  people, some without any cure; there are conflicts and divisions that divide us and create conflict and even hatred.

Then after all this, the hearse wheels continue to roll on and on every day, taxes, famine, fierce storms and weather conditions, and on and on and on!

Reading the Holy Bible, however, gives us an accurate view of how things are and shows us that God has revealed the fact that He has always retained His love and provision just as He always has no matter what kind of people we are! God’s great love is evident throughout the Word and should come to a better understanding about everything and also be able to learn that God’s love and grace have been given and available from the garden of Eden up until this very second!

Let us examine a few thoughts from selected people in the Word that shall reveal for us the “Merciful, Marvelous, Glorious Jesus Came To Do”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Judges 11:1 – 5 (KJV)

Jdg 11:1  Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.

Jdg 11:2  And Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

Jdg 11:3  Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.

Jdg 11:4  And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.

Jdg 11:5  And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:

New Testament Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17 – 21 (NKJV)

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2Co 5:19  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2Co 5:20  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

 Transforming Power Statements:

1) The Bible shows that it’s characters are regular everyday people just like us, who are divided into just two groups: Believing sinners and unbelieving sinners, who reject the council of God and choose for themselves the condemnation rather than embracing God’s effort.

2) There has always been mercy and grace from God for everyone as long as they believe the things that God has left on record in order to show them all that He loves them and is no respecter of persons.

3) The only work that was “perfect”( which is what it took to “satisfy Almighty God” ) was completed by Jesus, and is given to us if we believe the Gospel which divides the entirety of humanity into two groups known as  #1) The saved #2) The lost, everyone hearing me right now knows which group you are in; however, please hear me well; right now you can change instantly and permanently from lost to saved if you place all your faith in the “Merciful, Marvelous, Glorious Work Jesus Came To Do!
