Making Your Life Count For ChristWhen everything is done and God begins to settle all accounts, what will be the personal outcome for you as your tally is scored from all that you have done in the lifetime which God has granted you? Listen to our message today from Pastor Teacher, Landis Fisher, which he has titled: Making Your Life Count For Christ.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Daniel 7:24 – 28  (kjv)
Dan 7:24  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
Dan 7:25  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan 7:26  But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Dan 7:27  And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Dan 7:28  Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 19:27 – 30  (KJV)
Mat 19:27  Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
Mat 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Mat 19:29  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Mat 19:30  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Transforming Power Statements:

1) Deeply thinking about the fact that the Bible teaches that in the grand scheme of things when all has been done by all people, and God, Who sent His Only-begotten Son into the world to display His perfect love, grace and justice is ready to finalize all things, and restore His mutilated creation, the victim of Adam’s sin, (which includes my sin and that of all other people) and to make final His judgment, it would be wise if we begin to align  our lives to measure up based on His standards, rather than by those of the world and the dictates of this life.

2) Fixation on the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of sin, materialism, and worldly power, motivated by covetousness and greed are the driving forces behind selfishness, and are intensified by the devil to entrap those who refuse to place themselves under the teaching of the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit and to operate intentionally in a manner that is pro-Christ.

3) If you are saved, which means you are trusting in Christ Jesus alone for salvation, redemption and sanctification, you have been equipped to make your life count for Christ Jesus, meaning that Christ, Who is our life, is always factored in to our living, planning, hopes dreams, and aspirations, rather than being secondary or even less.
