The last week’s message taught us about the constant presence of God and His love toward all mankind, for the allowance of opportunity to be saved from our sins and to acknowledge the constant love of God for us! Therefore, it is a great idea to learn from this underlying message and to poise ourselves to redirect the way we think from look backwards to our failures to govern how we are in the present, but rather to live “Looking Forward” to the imperial Kingdom Of God’s Son, Jesus The Christ! which is the topic of our message today!

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Micah 4:1 – 4 (KJV)

Mic 4:1  But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Mic 4:2  And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Mic 4:3  And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Mic 4:4  But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

New Testament Scripture Hebrews 11:23 – 29 (KJV)

Heb 11:23  By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

Heb 11:24  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

Heb 11:25  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Heb 11:26  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Heb 11:27  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Heb 11:28  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Heb 11:29  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

Transforming Power Facts:

1) Many are the passages in the Old Testament that reveal the misunderstandings of the Israelites about what God really intended for them to do, and how He wanted them to represent Him, rather than doing things as the Gentiles did, which were seeking to possess material things , wealth, and power at the expense of living righteously before God, Who as in Micah’s prophecy, reveals that God would still provide abundance for them doing the right thing, which is keeping Him first!

2) Micah also predicts the time when the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD and all peoples will seek to worship Jesus, from everywhere, and He will provide true prosperity and peace for all people, who have believed in Him!

3) Moses is a great example of the mindset of keeping the status of “Looking Forward” rather than behind, because he kept his eyes on the promises of God and was the deliverer of the children of Israel who had been promised a great land, which was flowing with milk and honey, so in the likeness of Jesus, he forsook the treasures of Egypt and looked forward to Jesus’ coming to rule in righteousness!
