Greetings In Christ Jesus!

We are now living in what the Apostle Paul stated to Timothy (his son in the faith) the perilous times, and what Jesus Himself called “birth pangs” which indicates that we are in that critical time just before the time of the meeting out wrath and  judgment from God Who has dealt with extreme mercy from the very beginning from the day that the “First Adam” God’s son sinned against Him and caused the curse of sin to be upon all of his descendants up till this very second. In Today’s message Pastor Landis Fisher has titled “Living Through The Days Of Destruction” we shall unwrap the prophecy of Psalms 2 and understand the evil course of human history and see where the world is heading for those who reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 2:1 – 12 (KJV)

Psa 2:1  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Psa 2:4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psa 2:5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psa 2:6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Psa 2:7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psa 2:8  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psa 2:9  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Psa 2:10  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Psa 2:11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Revelation 14:6 – 11 (KJV)

Rev 14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Rev 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Rev 14:8  And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rev 14:9  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Rev 14:10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Rev 14:11  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) Throughout all of time since the fall of Adam, the disease of sin has caused mankind to do just as Adam did when he sinned: run away from God and hide themselves rather than to run into the presence of God Who has never ceased to love them to receive His forgiveness and be restored, because there is a tendency for man to seek to be autonomous apart from God and to also dominate each other which is a primary defect in our systems causing us to press against God’s rule and authority (which is perfect and beautiful) and scurry about to attain glory for ourselves.

2) The difficult and challenging times that we are facing today are the precursor to the final season according to God’s timeframe as indicated by the signs that have been written by the Prophets and Apostles in the Bible so as to alert all people everywhere to receive Jesus God’s Messiah Who has come to give the world assurance of God His Father’s grace, mercy and love that He openly displayed by giving His life in order to make available complete salvation to everyone who believes in Him.

3) As we can see the world of all who fail to place their entire trust in Jesus the Only Savior / Messiah, will be misled by the coming ruler of the world the antichrist, who shall unite the world under one new world order, deceive all the unbelieving Jews and unbelieving nations / Gentiles and demand the worship of  himself (the abomination of desolation) and lead many to eternal destruction all because they refused to be saved through believing totally in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone as full payment for their sins.
