Old Testament Scripture Reading: Hosea 4:1- 6 ( KJV)
(Hos 4:1 KJV) Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Hos 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Hos 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Hos 4:4 Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
Hos 4:5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) The problem with Israel was that instead of walking in the “Knowledge of God” as a witness to the surrounding world of Gentiles; that they so many times had chosen to imitate the Gentiles, rather than being a positive witness of God in their midst; as the Covenant people who had been called by God to represent Him; but instead they opted to seek that fallen, worldly way of life like the unbelievers.
2) As we walk within a culture of fallen people, it must become the focal point within our minds that not only drives our fear, but also unifies our purpose with that of God the Father Who has invested the very life of Jesus His Son so that believers can live a life without fear, and become witnesses to the unbelievers as well as being intercessors calling on God to make all the required adjustments.
3) The more we learn of the Truth, which is the Word of God, (i.e. the Holy Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation) the more fearless we shall become as we learn life changing truth which as Jesus stated shall MAKE US FREE! ; and we shall also realize that it is God’s will that everyone be saved!
