Intentionally Living Out the Word
The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes it, and is the method which God has selected to cure all who hear it and believe it. Our teacher / Pastor, Landis Fisher has prepared a message to encourage us how we must live “Intentionally Living Out the Word”

New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 8:11 – 17 (KJV) |
|
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Heirs with Christ
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. |

Transforming Power Statements:
1) There has always been an inborn resistance against doing right at all times and this reality is known as “indwelling sin” as stated by Paul (Romans 7:17), but has also been known even from old by the Old Testament Prophets who also affirm that by God’s Holy Spirit, which for the most part was derived from the knowledge and practice of God’s Law, that they were made more able to actually become more holy with the learning and practice of walking in His Word.
2) The perfect life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah, has made it possible for everyone who hears the Gospel and believes it, to be given the privilege of having the Holy Spirit to live in them and to produce the righteousness taught throughout the Word and live a life more pleasing to God day by day.
3) The cure for sin has already been installed within each and every believer in Christ Jesus, therefore, we must pray about having strength and ability to allow the Spirit to have His way and lead us into overriding the impulses of the flesh, and above all, to intentionally press past the flesh and insist on being involved in the study of the Word and prayer.
