1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) The world is filled with many troubling situations, and negative circumstances that tend to attack our minds, emotions, bodies, and thwart peace, making it very difficult for many to dwell with a consistent abiding term of peace; which creates stress, anxieties, disillusionment, grief, depression, and a host of other undesirable conditions that are many times overwhelming, and are the exact opposite of what the Bible refers to as “Peace” / Shalom.
2) Isaiah the Prophet wrote a song which is an excellent vehicle of ushering in a mindset of faith, which is absent of “normal fallen human concerns” and on the other hand it also is one of God’s best prescriptions for inner and outer manifestation of true Peace, which is the original state of the relationship God intended for mankind when He created him in His own image and there was no sin.
3) The Apostle John teaches us with great simplicity the sources of such anxieties and gets down to the root of the sources of lost peace, as he identifies the things that continue to press fallen mankind deeper into the traps of the world the flesh and the devil.
