Defining Factors Of The Love of Christ

print

From the clear teaching of the Holy Bible, God’s perfect and inerrant Word, we learn the mind and counsel of the Most High God, Who has given us everything required to be saved and all wisdom needed for living for time and eternity. This is a fact. However, this fact can only be learned by people who have been born again by the Spirit of God from above, through faith in the provision of God’s Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, Who alone satisfies God His Father for each and everyone who believes in Him for forgiveness of sin, and proper relationship with the Father, which He alone has provided.

(John 13:35) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 37:1 – 9 (KJV)

Psa 37:1 A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
Psa 37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Psa 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psa 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Psa 37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Psa 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Psa 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
Psa 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Titus 3:1 – 8 (KJV)

Tit 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Tit 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Tit 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) Based on the teaching from the Holy Scriptures, the entire predicament of mankind without God’s mercy and intervention is totally grim and shall conclude in everlasting separation and destruction known as “The Second Death” This is the Predicament that I will call “the Plight of Fallen Mankind”!
2) As human society continues on this path leading to complete destruction as a result of thinking that we can somehow be OK without the intervention of God, but rather doing things our own way, rather than God’s way, the evidence of the fallen choices of humanity just proceed from bad to worse. This is because of an open denial of our desperate need for God’s deliverance, which we as fallen people simply cloak with so called good works, denying the obvious fact that everything we achieve in the flesh still misses the mark of the perfection required to satisfy God, which has been done for us by His Son, Jesus Christ only. This I will call “The Fight of Mankind”
3) Once we come to realize that God has loved us, in spite of our Fight to be right without Him, and therefore, has chosen to provide us a perfect covering to completely heal the breach in our relationship with Him through the total and voluntary sacrificial provision of the death of His Son Jesus, Whom He raised from the dead to ratify every promise which He had made, and to give assurance of His love and acceptance of us in spite of our many transgressions, then we can live in what I will call “The Delight”.

1Jn 1:5  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1Jn 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Jn 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jn 1:10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
