Only the chosen by God will believe the clear Gospel of Jesus Christ, which has been given without regard to the political climate nor of the direction of the world, because it is the calling of God Himself which brings about the manifestation of the believer. It is indeed God Who is “Defining The Characteristics Of The Elect!”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 25:7 – 9 (KJV)

Isa 25:7  And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Isa 25:8  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 25:9  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 2Timothy 2:7 – 10  (KJV)

2Ti 2:7  Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

2Ti 2:8  Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

2Ti 2:9  Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

2Ti 2:10  Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) As it is revealed in Isaiah and many other passages in the Bible, there is a “vail” that is comprised of unbelief that can only be removed by true faith in God and His Word!

2) The true Church is a body of believers who are selected by God to rescue others whom He is calling to come to faith in Him and trust in His Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, Who shall send the Holy Spirit to indwell them and lead them through all the scheduled and random acts of the devil and the other forces of darkness.

3) The Apostle’s statement to Timothy reflects the fact that the salvation of God through Jesus Christ is the most important thing above all else and that no matter what the trials, persecutions, disappointments, faulty politics, or anything else were present, he was instructed to do his very best to endure them for the sake of those who were called out, the elect of God!
