Dealing With The Realm Of The Miraculous

Looking at the world from the vantage point of “everyday life”, one might conclude that life is totally haphazard, reckless, and out of control. This could cause anxiety, stress, or even  other unhealthy views of this life. Today’s message from the Holy Scriptures takes a glimpse at what the Word of God offers us a quite different, more wholesome view of the world as we hear this message called ” Dealing With The Realm Of The Miraculous”

Old Testament Scripture Reading Psalms 138:1 – 8 (KJV)

Psa 138:1  A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

Psa 138:2  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Psa 138:3  In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

Psa 138:4  All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

Psa 138:5  Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

Psa 138:6  Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

Psa 138:7  Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Psa 138:8  The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 14:32 – 40 (KJV)

1Co 14:32  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

1Co 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1Co 14:37  If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

1Co 14:38  But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

1Co 14:39  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

1Co 14:40  Let all things be done decently and in order.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) There are many things “professing” to be gods, however, King David through the Word of the True God, came to know that there is really only one God, Who reveals Himself through the showing up in every unseen area of this life by making the outcome  in all the circumstances of life to bring the believer through victoriously!

2) There have always been liars from the Garden Of Eden up until this very second, but God, Who raised His Son Jesus Christ from the dead has given perfect prophecy which He has promised that His Word will never fail!

3) The Apostle Paul admonishes the Church to realize that there have always been liars who try to confuse people for the purpose of deception leading to destruction, but God has given us a more sure Word of prophecy, that has been proven by the Resurrection Of Jesus Christ from the dead, so that we who believe in Him can be joyfully certain that HE LOVES US!
