Cultivating The Knowledge Of The Past Into Blessings For Improvement

In our previous message “The Birth Of Life” the impact of Christmas on the whole world and the souls of all people was our topic. As we have come to the close of another year, let us consider another crucial spiritual idea which is: ” Cultivating The Knowledge Of The Past Into Blessings For The Future”

Old Testament Scripture Reading Exodus 12:24 – 28 (KJV)

(24)  And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

(25)  And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

(26)  And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

(27)  That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

(28)  And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 1 John 4:7 – 11 (KJV)

(7)  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

(8)  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

(9)  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

(10)  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

(11)  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Transforming Power Statements / Special Scripture Notes:

1) Reflect: look over this past year and sift through its content and glean out the memories of God’s provisions, decisions, visions, and aspirations.

2) Meditate: Consider the load of God’s Mercy that this year required and thank God for His tremendous supply!

3) Project: Thank God for His provisions and promises, and above all His Son Jesus Christ, WHO ALONE makes all this possible for us all: and makes it possible for believers to be Cultivating The Knowledge Of The Past Into Blessings Of The Past Into Improvement”!
