Christ And The Majesties Of Motherhood

In our last lesson called: “Sanctified In The Peace Of The Father’s Promise” we learned how trusting in God’s promise was not only the key to the exponential growth of the faith of the patriarch Abraham, but also to every believer who learns to trust in God’s promises. In honor of our celebration of our Mothers, today, we have a special message in their honor called “Christ And The Majesties Of Motherhood”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Exodus 20:12 (KJV)           

Exo 20:12  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:1 – 3 (KJV)

Eph 6:1  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Eph 6:2  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Eph 6:3  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) The existing generation that is now, is the product of the previous one which raised them by passing forward the substance of their own personal lives… this perpetuity reflects the mercy of God toward the children of men for whom He Himself ordained redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ His Only begotten SON Whom He raised from the dead!

2) God’s investment of Jesus His Son, is so far greater than any shortfall or deficit by any earthly parent, that we have no reason to do anything but rejoice!
