As we have been blessed to have entered into this New Year 2021A.D., let us make preparation to press on into this year more deeply with more assistance from God The Holy Spirit!  let us look forward into a new year understanding that since God has allowed us to continue on thus far, He also has done this for a purpose yet to be revealed to us in the coming days.

In order to get our feet moving into a wonderful and glorious direction in our walk with the Almighty through the finished work of Jesus, His Son, let us begin with a deeper investigation of the same subject that we also ended 2020A.D. with  (which I have chosen to call the “year of attention”) And let us examine for the start of 2021A.D. with a connecting message: “Behoovement Of The Processes Of God The Spirit”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 55:6 – 11 (KJV)

Isa 55:6  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isa 55:7  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Isa 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isa 55:9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isa 55:10  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

Isa 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 1Corinthians 2:9 – 16 (KJV)

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1Co 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) The Holy Spirit, through Isaiah, has revealed the dynamics of the effective properties of God’s Word, which is just as effective as the created things God designed like the rain which waters seed to produce a perpetual perfect cycle of provision which provides food for mankind in a perpetual cycle that has never failed; God’s Word has a perfecting effect spiritually for everyone who forsakes their own way of thinking, and in turn embraces Holy Scripture, which provides spiritual growth and maturity to His chosen!

2) The behoovement of God the Holy Spirit is an internal mysterious endowment which is bestowed upon believers who have been elected and called by God, and therefore, have become empowered  from within to receive spiritual ability to glean wisdom from God’s Word (The Bible) and have become compelled from this transaction to make a change in their behavior to more thoroughly live a life that is pleasing to God; or to continue in confession (saying the same thing God’s Word says) until the behavior is eliminated, which is progressive sanctification.

3) Mere human philosophy and knowledge has provided mankind with much temporal benefit and many great achievements, however, all human thoughts apart from God, or even against the knowledge of God, tends to disregard the glory that belongs only to God, or to deny God’s revelation about things which He has clearly stated to be so; such things that can only be discerned to believers through the behoovement of the processes of the Holy Spirit, which is freely given to all who trust in Jesus Christ!
