Introduction:

Once we become “Saved” this means that we have heard and believed the Gospel, which is the good news that God has given Jesus His Son to pay in full for all our sins and has also defeated death for us by His resurrection.

When this amazing event happens, you are placed in a group known in the Scriptures as “The Remnant”, which is a set of people who have been equipped to see that the Bible is the complete and authoritative Word of God, containing everything accurately and constantly being revealed from day to day.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 110:1 – 7 (KJV)

Psa 110:1  A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

Psa 110:2  The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”

Psa 110:3  Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.

Psa 110:4  The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”

Psa 110:5  The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.

Psa 110:6  He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country.

Psa 110:7  He will drink from the brook by the wayside; Therefore He will lift up His head.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Matthew 24:1 – 15 (KJV)

Mat 24:1  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Mat 24:2  And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Signs of the End of the Age

Mat 24:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:5  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Mat 24:9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Mat 24:10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Mat 24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The Abomination of Desolation

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Transforming Power Statements:

1) The prophecies of the Psalmist in number 110, offers us messianic projections from Psalms 2, about the great war between Jesus the Messiah against the kings of the earth who have usurped and misused their granted authorities against God, which Jesus will win and take back the actual authority God His Father intended for Messiah and His followers to rule the Earth!

2) Jesus The Messiah, after speaking the hard truth about the Scribes and Pharisees in the public, stating that they were Hypocrites” began to teach His disciples the character of the world at the time when His second coming would be fulfilled, and He gave details about the way things would be at that time.

3) We are living in an age where there is just a remnant of actual believers who trust the things that are specifically described in gross detail to allow the remnant to monitor the times we are living in and to be aware of when the end is near.
