Beloved, you cannot afford to miss this one! Having a Biblically correct knowledge of Who Jesus is, cannot be underestimated! To do so is to bring destruction upon your own soul!

We are living in  perilous times. 2020 A.D. has delivered many extraordinary afflictions that have been cause for many global concerns. There has been reason for many things to be discontinued and others to become of even greater value.

Everyday things that have been “normal” are now altered to the dictates of hyper-abnormal considerations, which require us all to reevaluate many routine things in everyday life, and take a more serious analysis of our actions.

I believe that this is a wakeup call. Due to gross dismissal of God by much of the world and especially in America, (“the blessed land”) we have followed in the steps of Israel, who rejected Messiah, as an increasingly greater number of Americans are doing; and sadly enough, even many who say that they are “The Church”.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 2:1 – 12 (KJV)

Psa 2:1  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Psa 2:4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psa 2:5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psa 2:6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Psa 2:7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psa 2:8  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psa 2:9  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Psa 2:10  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Psa 2:11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

New Testament Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy 1:12 – 17 (KJV)

1Ti 1:12  And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

1Ti 1:13  Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

1Ti 1:14  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1Ti 1:15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

1Ti 1:16  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

1Ti 1:17  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Transforming Power Statements:

Divinity And Humanity Of The Sovereign King

1) The Old Testament reveals that even after God separated Israel from out of the Gentiles to be a people for His own possession, that they themselves chose to reject His authority and request a king of their own just as the Gentiles had done.

2) Psalms 2 is a great summary of God’s plan for Jesus Christ The Perfect King to arise and also to be rejected by the nations, who shall then be judged by Him.

3) God has fixed a day when He shall judge the world by the standards of Jesus The Perfect King and the whole Earth shall wail because of Him!
