Galatians 3:1-3 (KJV) O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Galatians 3:6 (KJV) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
The righteousness that saves sinners is completely by grace, which is mutually exclusive to the works of the Law. It’s not even a mixture! (So that man cannot boast)
Galatians 2:21 (KJV) I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Any attempt to be a Christian requiring human participation of any kind with respect to the keeping of the Law will only bring death rather than salvation because human works are not and have never been nor ever shall be “PERFECT” which they “MUST” in order to be sufficient to provide SALVATION THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.
Galatians 2:16 (KJV) Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
This includes the entire Torah including the Sabbath.
If someone wants to practice any precepts of the Torah it’s a matter of personal preference, however, such people must not think nor condemn others who choose not, nor must they believe that such electives are assisting them in their salvation, because only JESUS CHRIST saves!
