Greetings In Christ Jesus!

I have learned that one of the very best things that ever happened to improve my state of mind about the way things are in the world was reading the Bible for myself for many reasons, which have changed my life greatly for the better.

It is easy to have a very pessimistic outlook on the world just seeing it as it seems to be. We have wars, religious competition, diseases of every stripe across the entirety of ages from babies up to elderly  people, some without any cure; there are conflicts and divisions that divide us and create conflict and even hatred.

Then after all this, the hearse wheels continue to roll on and on every day, taxes, famine, fierce storms and weather conditions, and on and on and on!

Reading the Holy Bible, however, gives us an accurate view of how things are and shows us that God has revealed the fact that He has always retained His love and provision just as He always has no matter what kind of people we are! God’s great love is evident throughout the Word and should come to a better understanding about everything and also be able to learn that God’s love and grace have been given and available from the garden of Eden up until this very second!

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 19:1 – 14 (CEV)

Psa 19:1 The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done.

Psa 19:2  Each day informs the following day; each night announces to the next.

Psa 19:3  They don’t speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice.

Psa 19:4  Yet their message reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world. In the heavens a tent is set up for the sun.

Psa 19:5  It rises like a bridegroom and gets ready like a hero eager to run a race.

Psa 19:6  It travels all the way across the sky. Nothing hides from its heat.

Psa 19:7  The Law of the LORD is perfect; it gives us new life. His teachings last forever, and they give wisdom to ordinary people.

Psa 19:8  The LORD’s instruction is right; it makes our hearts glad. His commands shine brightly, and they give us light.

Psa 19:9  Worshiping the LORD is sacred; he will always be worshiped. All of his decisions are correct and fair.

Psa 19:10  They are worth more than the finest gold and are sweeter than honey from a honeycomb.

Psa 19:11  By your teachings, Lord, I am warned; by obeying them, I am greatly rewarded.

Psa 19:12  None of us know our faults. Forgive me when I sin without knowing it.

Psa 19:13  Don’t let me do wrong on purpose, Lord, or let sin have control over my life. Then I will be innocent, and not guilty of some terrible fault.

Psa 19:14  Let my words and my thoughts be pleasing to you, LORD, because you are my mighty rock and my protector.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Titus 3:1 – 8 (NASB)

Tit 3:1  Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed,

Tit 3:2  to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men.

Tit 3:3  For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

Tit 3:4  But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,

Tit 3:5  He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Tit 3:6  whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Tit 3:7  so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Tit 3:8  This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.

 Transforming Power Statements:

1) One of the most clear facts about the Old Testament is that the contents of the Law of God, The Psalms, and the witness of the Prophets gives us much clarity about what the difference is between good and bad human behavior and shows us a standard of measurement of human behavior that no one has ever met with perfection except Jesus The Messiah, of whom it bears witness from Moses to Malachi.

2) The Psalmist King David expresses how the entire creation is broadcasting the unparalleled power of a perfectly wise and Holy God Whose extreme glory is constantly on display for all peoples to see, and it provides undeniable evidence of His endless capability and His marvelous splendor in the first part, and the righteousness  of His perfect Law, (of which no human being has ever personally fulfilled) which He has given to expose man’s utter inability to claim self-righteousness.

3) In Paul’s letter to Titus, after a clear statement about the perfect provision of Messiah, Jesus (The only human having ever perfectly kept God’s Holy Law) instructs us through Titus what the picture of a perfect society should look like who are recipients of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who makes possible for every believer, God’s Gift Of Spiritual Progress!
