In summary this week I want to speak on the subject of: The Supremacy Of Jesus Christ

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10-11 (KJV)  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Old Testament Scripture: Isaiah 54:13 – 17 (KJV)

Isa 54:13  And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Isa 54:14  In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

Isa 54:15  Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Isa 54:16  Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

Isa 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

New Testament Scripture: John 19:30 – 37 (KJV)

Joh 19:30  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Joh 19:31  The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

Joh 19:32  Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

Joh 19:33  But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

Joh 19:34  But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

Joh 19:35  And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

Joh 19:36  For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

Joh 19:37  And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) Due to the curse (the fall of the First Adam)Everything touched by mankind will take a turn away from God and attempt to take the glory from God, and place it upon mankind rather than giving God His proper honor which He fully deserves; because mankind has always elevated himself and seeks to be seen as the greatest among other men and does not want to accept the fact that only Almighty God is Supreme.

2) Isaiah as led by the Holy Spirit after his personal conversion came to learn that even Israel the chosen / covenant people had fallen into this same kind of corruption of “self-glorification” because of their inner desire to emulate the fallen Gentiles who surrounded them rather than realizing that only Israel was getting direct revelation from the true God Who had made “EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY” Who therefore, knew exactly how things would be and had even given them specific instructions on how they could prosper and “be on TOP” in order for them to display God’s Glory. (Misunderstood their privileged Position)

3) Jesus (Who is God the Son) came to fulfill with exact perfection every prophecy God had spoken that was required for the salvation of everyone who believes in Him and He did it perfectly while also being a fully human being, Who forsook taking any of the Glory to Himself, but giving it ALL to HIS FATHER for the sake of ISRAEL and ALL other believing Gentiles so that all the GLORY of the entire creation would be given to God ALONE!
