Having preached last week about what God has done for the world by the crucifixion burial and resurrection of Jesus His Only Begotten Son (Who is The Messiah), in my message which I called: Girdling of the Soul in the Hope And The VICTORY Of The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ; I was compelled during my meditation this week to prepare today’s message in order to make crystal clear exactly what God has done . Let there be no misunderstanding, God’s gracious offering of Jesus for all the sin of the world to everyone who believes in Him is the only acceptable means for anyone to be saved from sin. Sin is the problem that all people have. Every single soul has sinned and therefore, every single soul needs to be forgiven by Almighty God. In this message I want everyone to know for sure what the Holy Scriptures say about exactly what God requires for receiving His gift of SALVATION. In summary this message is: Jesus Christ Is God’s Only Savior
Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 9:10-11 (KJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Old Testament Scripture: Isaiah 3:8 – 12 (KJV)
Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Isa 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Isa 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
New Testament Scripture: Titus 3:1 – 6 (KJV)
Tit 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Tit 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.
Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Transforming Power Statements:
1) In the same way Israel the covenant people of God became intermixed with the ways of the Gentiles (who are all other people groups other than the Jews) as we can see here in Isaiah 3the Church which consists of all who have professed to have faith in God through His Son Jesus’ death burial and resurrection, have now also become intermixed with worldly philosophies and political correctness to the same point where what is really true about God’s teachings has become corrupted to the point of judgment, which God sends to call the world to accountability, especially the Church!
2) In the likeness of Israel, who not only killed Jesus according to the Scriptures but also continues to deny Him Who Is The Messiah, even up till this very second, who also denies Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, the modern Church now also is corrupted with “political correctness”; worldly contamination of every sort, and mainly, failure to be clear in the proclamation of God’s grace which He displayed when He forsook Jesus on the cross to fulfill the promises of the Old Testament so that everyone who believes in Jesus can be saved! (Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. )
3) Paul’s instruction given to Titus for the Church let’s know that as believers in Jesus Christ, we are to be obedient to human government in general, as long as human government does not demand things directly against God’s Word, and that we always remember and realize that we also had to come to a place of understanding (t hat God so loved the world that He gave is Only Begotten Son Jesus so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life) so that we can teach everyone else that JESUS CHRIST IS GOD”S ONLY SAVIOR!
