Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 9:6 – 7 (KJV)
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 5:1 – 11 (KJV)
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) The world has been out of adjustment in the area of true peace every since the fall and situations have become increasingly worse throughout the history of mankind to the point that only God can really offer any solution that will actually work to heal the human soul and cause real Peace to return.
2) Isaiah prophesied of the time when God would take on human flesh (the incarnation) for the main purpose of becoming the only acceptable atonement which provides all who believe in Him through Jesus (The Messiah) TRUE PEACE; therefore, also the means to be at peace with one another.
3) Paul addresses the Romans with the teaching that only the ones who have received the Atonement, (which is paid for by the blood of Jesus) are the same ones who work for true peace in the world by the spreading of this good news, which is the Gospel!
