Old Testament Scripture Reading: Isaiah 54:13 – 17 ( KJV)
Isa 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Isa 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Isa 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Isa 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
New Testament Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:6 – 12 (KJV)
1Co 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) The Prophets of Old predicted a time when the distance between God and the children of Adam would end and the personal relationship enjoyed by our original parents according to the flesh, would again be enjoyed by the saved based on the redemption of Jesus the Messiah, Who came to restore forever the breach between sinners and God for all who believe in Him.
2) This gift from God of His Son, Jesus the Christ, provides for each one who believes in Him, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-Head, to personally indwell each one to seal the deal of the free salvation earned by Jesus (the Catalyst of Righteousness)on their behalf and to give guidance and peace to each one during the everyday processes of life, as well as to be a barrier against our individual sinfulness by offering internal opposition to all such impulses on a daily basis.
3) God’s Holy Spirit remains in each one who trusts in Jesus Christ and must be allowed to prevail by everyone who receives Him, as He produces growth within us through the teaching and applications of the Word of God as He incorporates it into the daily lives of each believer who is effectively being taught directly by God!
