Living Out the Power of Grace
Our Pastor Teacher, Landis Fisher, has prepared a message on how God develops what He has promised in the people whom He has called to become heirs of salvation, which He has provided through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus the Messiah. Listen in today to this though provoking message that he has titled: “Living Out the Power of Grace”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Micah 7:18 – 20 (KJV) |

Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Mic 7:20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) Since it is a fact that the fall of man has impacted every soul so deeply and profoundly, that no one by their own works could ever be capable of standing before Almighty God on the basis of their own personal merits, that the only way anyone could ever be saved is for God to pardon them by His grace as a free gift.
2) The Prophet Micah concludes his prophecy with the fact that even the covenant people have always needed God’s grace and mercy, and have never been spiritually ‘self-sufficient’ but rather totally dependent on the pardon of the almighty based completely on His promises to the Fathers of the faith.
3) Learning to yield to the Holy Spirit must become the most important goal of the believer in order to attain the ‘true’ righteousness that really pleases God and requires maintaining a realistic evaluation of one’s self followed by prayer (adoration, confession, supplication, thanksgiving, intersession) and submission to the Word of God.
