Under the Protection of Jesus
God has tolerated all sin even from the original sin of Adam up until now. He has done this all because of His great love for mankind, and has placed all sin under the blood of His Only Son Jesus, at least for everyone who believes in Him. Listen to our Pastor Teacher, Landis Fisher as he presents a message highlighting this excellent provision of God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit in a message he has titled: “Under the Protection of Jesus”

|
Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psa 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psa 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psa 91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psa 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psa 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psa 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psa 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psa 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

New Testament Scripture Reading: John 16:1 – 13 (KJV) |
|
Joh 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
Joh 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
Joh 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
Joh 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
Joh 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
Joh 16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Transforming Power Statements:
1) Trouble and difficulty are a major part of this fallen world as well as being a great source of personal displeasure, pain, agony, suffering, confusion, hardship of every stripe and even pursue as all the way even to the very grave; but God is all mighty and always has the final say on the extent of how the negativities of life affect the ones who trust in Him and He promises to be with us as we go through everything both good times and bad.
2) On the basis of the upcoming Messiah, Jesus the Christ, God has provided for everyone who believes in Him coping mechanisms to allow them the abilities required to endure all the negative effects of the fall of man and His promise is to be with you: 1) When others have forsaken you 2) As we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death 3) under times or even seasons of persecution 4) Even unto the end of the world!
3) God has promised that He will provide real-time on board counsel via the Holy Spirit whom He has placed to assist us in a realistic way at the exact time we are in need; therefore, everyone who is “saved” abides under the protection of Jesus against every negative condition even death and the grave!
