Transforming Power Statements:
1) Due to the malignancy of sin in the human culture, which is responsible for everything negative that exists in the stream of humanity, now and from the very fall of Adam, God has always operated toward mankind showing them love, while at the very same time hating every sinful act and impulse that raises itself against the intimacy God has toward the human family.
2) This is seen in this final book of the Old Testament in the prophecy of Malachi as God states that Jacob He loves, while Esau He hated, which is symbolic of the fact that God deals with mankind accentuating Love, and Overpowering hate by His grace toward the entire human family throughout all of time.
3) God speaking through the author of Hebrews also displays His practice of sacrificial love toward mankind and teaches us to practice the process of accentuating love and overpowering hate as we conduct ourselves in everyday life as well. |
