Eternal Favor for the True Family of God

Pastor Fisher and First Lady Hope Fisher return from a well needed vacation and resume in our ongoing study on the topic of “Marriage and Family” which Pastor began prior to his vacation. Listen in today as our Pastor Landis Fisher teaches another installment into this extremely required lesson in a message he as titled: “: Eternal Favor for the True Family of God”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Amos 3:1 – 3  (KJV)

Amo 3:1  Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
Amo 3:2  You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
Amo 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

New Testament Scripture Reading: Romans 8:16 – 25  (KJV)

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) When God had chosen Israel to be “His Family”, He also knew that there would be some who joined themselves to them because their blessings were obvious, but not by faith; and that it would be necessary to give them instructions which would sift the true from the false just as it is also with the Church. (God however, always desires that ALL believe, but each must choose to do so for true love to be manifested toward God)

2) An effective relationship with God is one in which individuals elect to hear and obey God to reveal true affection on each one’s heart toward God and His personal will for their lives, rather than only knowing God in a cursory fashion which in reality is “self-deception” because God said if we love Him; keep His commandments.

3) All that we experience in this life; everything whether good, bad or even ugly, if we are saved by God’s grace through Jesus His Son, will reap such a major reward from God it is impossible to even measure the magnitude of the favor which God is preparing and will promptly and abundantly deliver to all who have placed their trust in Christ Jesus His Son, and believe that God has raised Him from the dead; not just “favor” ; but ETERNAL FAVOR that God has been preparing in the ages past.
