Mastery of The MysteryFor the past two Lord’s Days, our Pastor Teacher, Landis Fisher has been teaching a series of studies about the mysterious nature of secrecy that God has designed to conceal the understanding of the Gospel of His perfect Son, Jesus the Christ, from all the minds of the people who deny the Christ as LORD. Listen in to this installment as well as Pastor Fisher adds to this train of thought with a message he has titled: Mastery of the Mystery.

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Psalms 91:1 – 16  (KJV)
Psa 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psa 91:2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Psa 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Psa 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psa 91:5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Psa 91:6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Psa 91:7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Psa 91:8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Psa 91:9  Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

Psa 91:10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psa 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psa 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Psa 91:13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Psa 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Psa 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Psa 91:16  With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Ephesians 3:1 – 12  (KJV)
Eph 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Eph 3:2  If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Eph 3:3  How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Eph 3:4  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Eph 3:5  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6  That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph 3:7  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Eph 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Eph 3:9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Eph 3:12  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Transforming Power Statements:

1)     Due to personal unbelief, countless millions are lost and are blinded to the truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus, and therefore, are the mission-field of those who are able to see by the power of God’s Spirit and His Word, since it is God alone Who gives the increase.

2)     It is such a fantastic privilege to be equipped by God to be able to see His plan, to know His Word, to be Led and comforted by His Spirit, so that you are protected from being deceived by the devil, the world and even the flesh, and that by walking in His Spirit, and walking by faith, you are mortifying the deeds of the body and being sanctified day by day, to the glory of God.

3)      Mastery of the Mystery of Christ must become our goal in order for us to become all that God desires of His children knowing that God shall reward all who diligently seek Him, both now and in the new heaven and earth according to His righteousness and grace.
