Missing MessiahFor the start of the new decade our focus should be on learning to glorify God in all things in that He is the One who has sent His Only begotten Son to reconcile the world to Himself. Listen in as Pastor Landis Fisher teaches a message to charge our spiritual batteries for this new year that he has titled: “Missing Messiah”

Old Testament Scripture Reading: Zephaniah 1:1 – 6  (KJV)
Zep 1:1  The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of

Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in

the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
Zep 1:2  I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith

the LORD.
Zep 1:3  I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the

heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the

wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
Zep 1:4  I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all

the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal

from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
Zep 1:5  And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops;

and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by

Malcham;
Zep 1:6  And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that

have not sought the LORD, nor inquired for him.

New Testament Scripture Reading: Galatians 1:1 – 12  (KJV)
Gal 1:1  Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus

Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
Gal 1:2  And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of

Galatia:
Gal 1:3  Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our

Lord Jesus Christ,
Gal 1:4  Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from

this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Gal 1:5  To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Gal 1:6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you

into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and

would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other

gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be

accursed.
Gal 1:9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any

other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please

men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Gal 1:11  But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was

preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12  For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it,

but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Transforming Power Statements:

1) Biblical history shows that there have always been people on Earth who have not accepted nor properly understood nor accepted the existence and love of God and have chosen to walk contrary to God to their own shame and harm. In fact each of us fit into one of two categories in this regard: Believers or Unbelievers

2) In this new decade, I want to challenge every person including myself especially, to Biblical Self evaluation, Accurate Spiritual focus & planning, and maintaining Spiritual Unity in the bond of peace as a motto for the time at hand for the main reason (Inhalation and dissemination of the Gospel to every creature); and several sub-reasons that shall follow.

3) Popular reasoning has eclipsed much of Biblical teaching and placed much of the visible Church into a serious departure from the right path as written in Holy Scriptures and have replaced the antidote for the poison of sin with a mere band aid of self-righteousness that shall be the cause of many who shall “Miss Messiah” on the last advent.
